During my childhood, my earliest dream job was to own a restaurant I imagined calling “Alex’s Place.” I was fascinated by the charm of 1930s–1940s menu art, especially the bold pin-up illustrations that defined the era’s visual style. Wanting to create something inspired by that aesthetic, I carved the base image using a woodblock print technique, then scanned and digitized it in Photoshop. Once it was on screen, I added decorative elements and refined the design, bringing my childhood vision of a vintage-style restaurant logo to life.
